I’ve been applying for remote job since I just started Doordash but I’m not making a ton. My mom also said she’s going to have me start paying rent so she wants me to get a job (I’m paying $200 a month already), but when I brought getting a remote job since I would save money on commuting and gas, she shot the idea down because she wants me out of the house.
I could see where’s she’s coming from if I wasn’t doing anything, but I’m already doing Doordash three days a week, so I’m already getting out of the house anyways. As long as it’s bringing in money, I don’t see the big deal going remote.
