A question I always ask about hell and humans in hell is, did they stay here eternally or does they reincarnate one day?

I mean, some material contradict the both but Hecatia saying that she tortures damned humans eternally make me thinks this is the former.

Honestly what's more terrifying is also that we never know what's they crimes are, it could be just be petty thieving to full murder and of course it's increased the fuel even further when Hecatia talk about creates a paradise in hell just to bring despair to humans in hell even further by taking them on after that.

The most hypocrites things about that is that it's never imply that yokai suffers the same fates of damned humans (in facts the only species mentioned in hell other than humans is fairies) when they have do terrible things in the world of gensokyo by killings attempted world dominations ect...

Also this tortures seems just to be sadism since it's never implied that they needed the fear of damned humans to survive just the ones from humans village but I supposed it's Gensokyo, a world where humans despite being "safe" in the humans village and the reasons why Yokai even exist in the first place are always treated like trash despite Yokai having great fear that one days this balance will be reversed.
