Unit collision is ruining the game for me

I'm on the final battle vs Belakor and unit collision or lack thereof is keeping me from being able to win the campaign.

My army, which under any other circumstance wins every land battle is all lvl 9, decently balanced with range and melee, and with my lvl 50 Zhao Ming, is simply trampled by soulgrinders and melee demon units as they run through my Celestial Dragon Guard to my backline of crossbows and artillery and there is nothing I can do to stop them.

I've tried the final battle multiple times and every single time, no matter how long I sit and farm the resource to heal units/ammo, my ranged units get killed as soon as the next wave of enemies shows up.

I don't think I'll be finishing this campaign until these issues are fixed as I'm not interested in spending an hour on the fight only to have all of my units down to 15% by the 3rd objective point.

Edit: I was finally able to beat the final battle by doing the cheese strat that Legend of Total War used. It was not fun, and the battle took like 2 hours to complete. Hopefully CA sees stuff like this and rebalances the final fight to be actually fun.
