So ive played a lot of warhammer and keep coming back to the dwarves, just finished my first ever legendary campaign with them. I'm now eager for a new legendary challenge but also finding it difficult to decide on who to play next. Id like to play again on legendary but dont know who is fun to play without being either impossibly difficult or relying on ai rng (i.e. my dwarf campaign, i took the other 2 settlements in the purple dwarves territory, they lost their main army and accepted a confederation at the same time giving me both full provinces in the first 10 turns, i found in a lot of starts they were dead by turn 10).

Dwarves were relatively easy because I took silver road and blood river valley then turtled while the greenskins hurled army after army at my walled settlements, only needing an army for each province (the ai is so bad at sieging, easy to kill 1000 mainly black orc armies whilst I only lose 50-100 dudes). Eventually I had higher tier units and upgraded settlements and economy and could send my 3rd army doomstack out to start taking the bad lands so on so forth, once you survive the early spam no one else stands a chance.

I prefer playing the forces of order, however am having trouble getting through the first 50 odd turns with anyone else (ive attempted mr franz and mazda so far). Dwarves were easy cause once i had the dok karaz port to trade with the empire, along with HE, lizardmen and tomb kings once i sent out an agent to make contact, this kept my finances solid whilst i teched up and got organ guns and ironbreakers. Dwarves also have the luxury of being covered by other dwarves till your ready to fight, as mazda the dick elves, orcs and chaos all bee lined for me, empire i managed to reunite reikland then was a bit unsure as to where to go, tried to send an army over to take back some vamp land, they proceeded to wipe that army and crush the empire provinces.

I really enjoyed my dwarf playthrough, it was a challenge but didnt feel impossible, despite needing multiple restarts to get the start right. So who would you recommend next and can you please give tips on what you would do for those first 50 turns which seem to make or break the playthrough
