Civilization + Total War Rome II
Post Body

Hello, I'm Max and I wanna start a project to combnine elements fo Civilization and Total War. My idea is to combine Total War Rome II, with civilization. You'd start as a 1 of maybe 10 city states. My initial thoughts are Sparta Athens Rome Carthage Syracuse Corinth Genoa Agra Then you have the Persian Empire, whos unplayable but serves as a deterrent. Now there would be no set-borders, but there would be 'nodes'. Each node would be the center city, then ofc the city needs farmland so you build a farm on the outside of the node. This would form the core Sphere of Influence. Eventually, because Greece has many city states, they'd have to expand. In Italy there would be a few "barbarian" Tribes which you'd have to over run, but it would be much easier. This will cause people to colonize and make more city nodes. This will force you to develop a navy to trade etc. The construction system will be more-civ like, and recruitment more Total war It would go from the dawn of civilization all the way up to the crisis of the 3rd century.

I think this would be interesting because there aren't really any good games focussed on this time period. If your interested in helping, DM me.
