Skaven Corruption ?

I feel like I am missing something, is there a reason NOT to have skaven corruption be as high as possible while playing the skaven?
I see some lord skills/buildings raise untainted and some raise skaven corruption.
Why would you raise untainted as a skaven?

OK thanks, I just figured the mechanic was the same as corruption before. Any reason its like that? I figured rats would love it lol
