Title says it all really. Empire looks good because of the scale, amount of units, guns. It seems better than medieval 2, not that I don't like medieval, it's just that the battles are close quarters and can be a bit, meh.

And, as I say I played the demo. It ran fine, the game looked good enough, apart from one major flaw, The troops. From far away, when they walk there are just two animations, very blurry ones at that. It looks like they're hovering, not walking.

Zoom in a bit further, more detail on the troops you're looking at, but the rest of the troops are still blurry.

Zoom in far enough and you see the troops, but they still move in exactly the same way, hold the guns the same, and it lags awfully.

This doesn't happen on medieval, where it runs smoothly, lots of detail, can zoom in very close.

I'm unsure whether to get the game, or whether this will bug me enough that I won't like the game. I can command from high up, and it plays fine, it's just that the troops look awful. Any suggestions?
