How are the AI changes so far?

I've been seeing photos of full sized armies being churned out on higher difficulties and them actually combining 3 - 4 armies to attack one settlement. Which is good! Just wondering if it's actually really consistent, and their armies just grows larger and larger the more the game progresses.
To anyone whose at the late game (90 ), are there any factions mustering 20-30 armies? Of more than 1 army attacking a settlement, not just casually sending a cheap singular stack to be auto resolved?
