Basically the title. I was watching the Yuan Bo trailer and realized the narrator is a lot less enthusiastic. I thought maybe at first it's just shorter so some of the funny moments were lost, so I went back to the Chorfs and my God it's worse than I thought.
First of all, there's far fewer interesting in-game cut scenes. In the Zhatan trailer, it literally starts with a unique cutscene. Within two minutes, there are several more.
The narrator has emotion and emphasis and actually seems to be enjoying it. This one he just seems to be running through the motions and trying to get it over with.
And obviously the length. I know there's maybe fewer gamely mechanics compared to the Chorfs. But, there isn't this feel of a story like the others. It has story beats, sure, but it just seems like he's trying to rush through a series of barely connected bullet points.
I guess for me I just feel bad for the dev team because it just seems like they aren't having fun. I love Total War and Warhammer has opened me to a lot of new lore and games I never cared about, but buying this DLC, even on sale, just seems stupid to do. I really hope they change soon.
