Hi folks. I finally got a tortoise after months of deciding. I went to a place and brought home a red-footed tortoise and a terrarium kit but I think they might have oversold me some stuff.
I'm looking to automate some stuff and was wondering what you folks recommend for a temp and humidity controller. I don't have a specific budget but I do want to get something that's a bit future-proof or the very least hackable.
I'd love any recommendations on the temp and humidity controller as spritzing her with water all day is not really sustainable since life does happen and there will be days I won't be able to keep a schedule.
I read that heating pads aren't really that too good for them since it discourages them from basking so I'm going to skip that for now so my temp and humidity controller I plan to use the heating lamp I got and getting a misting system (I read that a bad combo of both is fatal so I'm taking every step to make sure that never happens).
Anyway, please let me know. Thank you!
