Hey everyone hope everyones week went well! My week is actually what brought me here lol. Yall were super helpful with the litter box dilema i had so im back lol. Its a bit of story to get to my questions so bare with me ill do my best to keep it short lol

So im 32 and got Gizmo my spicy tortie lol back in 2021 during my previous relationship (its been over for a while lol). Anyways she is my cat so i kept her. Well it has always been just her myself and my ex. No other pets no kids (im childfree by choice) and since moving out on my own in feb of this year after living with family its been just me and her. Welll here comes my problem and its a big one 😂🤦‍♀️. So my current boyfriend has 3 kids 2,5 and 7 son to be 8. My cats a bully she met my nephew when he was 2 and she 1. Was scared n looked at him like why is he so tiny? 😂 and 2. She then proceded to chase said child not mean or anything from what i can see but dude ome on🤦‍♀️😂. Anyways we are planning a big move outta state together within a year. My question is how do i help my spicy tortie adjust to the kids and a new home?

I will be bringing all her stuff she has here with us now i wont change anything so she has her scent on things and my boyfriends kids arent unruly or cruel lol. Thankfully. And he has good control over them so im not worried bout them hurtin her or anything like that..for a chunker she moves quick lol. Im more worried bout them then her shes crazy man 🤣🤣. And we will have plenty of hiding spaces for her as well. Im just wondering cause i havent ever done this before with kids and a cat whos never been round kids 🤦‍♀️😂. Years ago i was with a guy who had kids but the cats we had grew up with the kids so they didnt care lol. So im at a loss here and its also going to be one hell of a drive i do plan to talk to the vet and get meds for the anxiety she has in the car.

I hope this info helps on what im looking for here. Ill take any tips/tricks/ideas yall have and ill be putting. A small book together for myself so i can keep myself organzied lol.

I should add i have severe anxiety and mental health issues (depression bpd and ptsd) so the extra stress isnt helping at all lol. Hence my reaching out i figured iver the next few months gather all the info and go from there.
