Anyone tried deliberately shrinking challis?

Post Body

I always size up in Torrid’s rayon challis because it does shrink a bit, even though I never put it in the dryer. Unfortunately, I bought this Emma tunic before the reviews were in, and didn’t realize it was already oversized. And now it’s sold out in the color I wanted. I got a great deal (around $16 with 40% off and Torrid cash) so part of me says I have almost nothing to lose by throwing it in the dryer to see if it shrinks a full size. The other part of me says, it’s free to return it, and surely other buyers will be returning it in droves when they see how big it is, so it should come back in stock. What do you think?
