So, I read comic books and download them every week. I download the torrent files, add them to deluge and then unselect them all. I then go and select only the ones I want. However, every single time it downloads ones I didn't ask for it to download. So i usually wind up wasting 150-200 mb downloading files I never intended or asked for it to download. Is this normal? Why is it doing this? I can understand if it happened to the first torrent I added as a bit of "pre-downloading" but i add numerous ones at a time and 2-x shouldn't even be downloading yet, let along downloading stuff i didn't have selected to download.

Is there a reason for this? Can I stop it? I pay per MB so it may only be 150-200MB a month but that's a lot to me.
