I have an older i5 7th gen box laying around, 16gb ram and some storage. I was considering using it for my media needs. Please forgive my complete lack of knowledge.

I wanted to use the box to torrent, share media around the house, my Spotify and FLAC collection along with viewing family pictures.

The box will have to live on the top floor, so wifi only, assuming I can just give it a local address as I would want to RDP to it? Mullvad would be my VPN of choice with BT, then I was thinking Jellyfin?

All my TV's have either a Google Chromecast or Roku boxes so figured I could probably connect to the Jellyfin using those?

Any tips, things to consider would be amazing!
