Is there a BIG issue with me not crediting the creators of the .cbr files I'm seeding?

Post Body

I have so many comics/graphic novels that I just started seeding on torrent.

Most comics are collected in a nice bundle. Many of them are scattered through this site and that site and hard for many to piece together. It has taken me many many hours on some of the titles to gather the correct files and actually read through them to make sure they are correctly titled/catalogued in my library.

Part of this cataloguing process is that I remove all of the information from the original uploader that is usually a sentence or so of "scanner", "uploader" and "host site". Let's say someone uploaded a comic book of The Mask... once I download it the file reads "Volume One The Mask (HFOIEH scan)(AwesomeGuY69 upload)(GetComics).cbr". Well I will go ahead and read it to make sure it is the mask volume one. Once done reading i will rename the file into my library as such: [FOLDER] The Mask -----> [FILE] "The Mask - Vol. 01.cbr".

The way I share them is by uploading them EXACTLY how they are in my library. But I'm starting to get comments about how f*%$#ed up it is that I am not crediting the original uploaders. Should I be worried about these complainers or am I actually breaking some kind of rule that I had no clue about? In all at the very end of each comic is a full page of the uploader (as seen in my attached photos).

Attached are photos of my library and how I catalogue my files.

Discussion topics:

Should I be worried about these complainers or am I actually breaking some kind of rule that I had no clue about? Piracy is about breaking rules anyhow... right?

How do you all like to catalogue your files? Do you change the names when you put them into your final library?

What are some collections you've spent a lot of effort or time finding all of the files for and collecting them in a systematic way? (Like Music, Art pieces, Movies, TV Shows, Collecting cards, hell even Porn actresses and their entire works.)
