Transmission to qBittorent: How to migrate partial downloads & re-named files?

Post Body

So I'm currently using Transmission on Mac, but due to speed issues am trying to migrate all my torrents to qBittorrent. The method I've used is to copy all the magnet links from Transmission and then use "Add Torrent Link" in qBittorrent.

I'm running into 2 (maybe 3) issues:

  1. For torrents where I've selected to only download some files and not others, I'm not able to transfer this selection to qBittorrent. When I add the torrent it automatically selects all files, or else I have to manually select which to include.
  2. qBittorrent won't recognize partially downloaded files from Transmission. From what I can see, while a file is downloading from Transmission it's given the extension .part, whereas when a file is downloading from qBittorrent it's given the regular extension. qBittorrent isn't recognizing these .part files and so will start downloading a new file.
  3. (This might be fixed if I find a solution for #2 above, but...) For torrents where I've renamed files through Transmission, I can't get qBittorrent to recognize the renamed file. Oddly enough the file will show up in my download list with the new name, but when I begin downloading it will start downloading a new file with the original name.

What am I doing wrong?
