Gotta give Gasol is due credit. He has been incredible in this playoff runs. Our defense has been our main strength and taking us the farthest we have ever been and Gasol deserves a lot credit for it. After Kawhi, it can be argued either Lowry/siakam/Gasol has had the biggest impact. He shut down Vucevic, Embiid and Lopez. But his help D on star players Ben, Butler, Giannis, Bledso, Middleton and even now on Curry has just been incredible to watch. Even Giannis is still having PTSD from it.

u/rsrsrsrs is right when he compared his impact to Ben Wallace like impact in 2004 Pistons championship run. Obviously they have different style of game but similar impact on the game. Our half court set defense is one of the best in playoff history.
