A Wichita, Kansas sporting goods stores had a massive stock of these Gradey Dick Raptors jerseys. I also heard a girl get absolutely stoked them, shouting "THEY HAVE GRADEY DICK'S!" I forgot he was a Wichita native.
Has this sub seen an influx of Kansans since the draft? During my brief stint in the area, I found that Wichitans are very proud of their local success stories and swarm like locusts whenever anything Wichita-related come up.
Wichita also doesn't seem to have any strong preference for NBA teams. Despite OKC being pretty close by, I never saw stores selling stuff, nor did I ever see anyone in Thunder gear. I regularly saw FVV stuff and even the occasional Landry Shamet representation though. They absolutely LOVE anyone who comes from WSU (as do I lol).
Howdy from Oklahoma City. I really hoped we would get Gradey, and I hope he balls out for you guys.
