Poeltl has changed the Toronto Raptors. By bringing a Real Center to the team, the Raptors have effectively solved two big problems (a dominant big and sent GTJ to the bench for bench depth).

The last 15 games, the Raptors have been playing some amazing basketball, and all the teams weren't bad. The brand of basketball is somewhat back, we are just missing a PG/Shooter off the bench. If Barton can become consistent at 1.5-2.5 3s a game off the bench and 3-4 assists I think we can have a solid team for the play-in.

Unfortunately, the top seeds we will face after playin are too dominant for us to force an upset, but it shows good promise for this squad. Had we had Poeltl, Barton and this version of the raps from Day 1 of the season, I think we finish around 4th/5th with Cavs & Knicks.

Then we patiently wait a year for Scottie to keep growing and with him starting to come into his potential, we can break that top 3 team skill barrier.

I don't think many tank fans or compete fans want to complain, but it's been a crappy season. I'm just happy we have some good basketball as of late. I hope we can win the play in games and steal 2-3 games in the first round.

Keep in mind, this team fully healthy With Otto Porter Jr is a top 5 team in the East and possibly with another off season of growth maybe even a top 6 in the league.
