TTC with a Bike (How do buses work?)

I'm also new to biking here. I have a new bike and while it's cool to ride around campus York is pretty far from anything of interesting.
So basically I've never ridden TTC with a bike before. I'm not sure how the bike racks work in front of the buses and I'd rather not hold up a bus trying to figure it out.
Are there any videos or something that show it?
I've seen a few that aren't TTC specific and one that was but in such poor resolution and framing that I couldn't really see anything.
