As a resident of East Toronto I am baffled why Torontains do not consider Scarborough as part of Toronto. Even customer service reps on the phone will correct you and say Scarborough not Toronto. Did Scarborough get amalgamated under the tyranny of Toronto to no benefit, not even to be called Toronto?
