Barring Ace Combat 3. While Ace Combat does have longer, more complex stories and their own world to them, they do not compare in terms of characters. Basically everybody in TG/TGM is very likeable and is well written barring the smaller characters like Hangman, and even he has more depth to him then most AC characters.

While AC has a much more expansive world and more complex stories, the way they execute said stories with really two dimensional and often unlikable characters really does allow TGM to be much more emotionally compelling to me.

I will likely post this take on R/Ace Combat. But I wanted to see what you guys thought, especially since some AC fans are here.
