gag shop glitch?

basically i entered a gag shop, and bought gags as usual and all of a sudden the shopkeep said “need more time to think?” when the timer wasn’t even close to 0 and kicked me out. i didn’t think much of it cause i bought what i needed.
Next thing you know i’m in a DA office D with 63/80 gags and 0 fogs lol. Pretty annoying but thankfully the group was understanding and I had restocks but still...
