I only discovered Tom and the band about a decade ago when I first heard Free Fallin' on the radio and wanted to know who had crafted such a cool song.
Until then I had been a hard rock and metal fan but quickly TPATH became regular favourite listens.
As I've mellowed into my 40s I've found myself listening more and more to the band and finding deep and personal meanings in so many songs.
Then the GTA 6 trailer hit and I found a song I'd overlooked for so long and now I'm absorbing all I can about the band and I can safely say they are now in my top 2 bands of all time.
Listening to Tom is like having him sat in the same room telling me these stories and giving me hope in my own life. I commute daily for work and he is my constant companion on those lonely journeys.
My only regret is not having the chance to see them live before he passed.
I'm sure I'm not the only one to feel this way but I wanted to share my story with y'all!
