We used to discuss the cinema in a very subjective way using objectivity and in a genuine manner. But recently I felt some kind of hate and troll reception, sometimes as it looks though with a propaganda and sometimes not, on this sub, rather than discussing movies or disseminating information regarding movies.
It is comical to see people to go such an extent to prove something utterly not their expertise yet show-off like why it is not bad or good, while people can subjectively express their opinion on some movie with simple words like "No, I don't like it" or 'yes, I like it'.
Many contributors in this sub, nowadays, are trying to pull out something like personal opinions into the sub and started mental gymnastics and hate-mongering over a particular person. I think just because someone is related to films, reacting to the every personal opinion of them, shall not be any objective or at least a topic of this sub.
And when a movie trailer got released, it would be either a massive unnecessary troll in the name of "Baga cheyakapothe troll thappadu", "Criticism theesukolekapothe endhuku", "He deserves hate for doing such films" ani theliso theliyakundano maname oka picture ki unwanted hate create chesthunnamanipisthundhi and there are reasons to why I feel this might be a propaganda. Cause I have seen a pattern in this sub, that for some pool of actors if their film's related update released people are like complaining all negativity but for other pool of actors it is extreme positivity.
Nonetheless, I am not saying it is moderators mistake, as a moderator of the group we cannot control everything. But we better have a clear nuances of what to discuss and what not to discuss, what is a topic worthy of this sub and what is not.
