Opinion

Pushpa 10 kgfs equal they said, cocktail of KGF and kantara they never said.

Here are my pros and cons of the movie.

Cons:

Rope work in Japan fight. It’s like pushpa has flying power rather than jumping , make the character lean forward Atleast when the rope is gonna lift them to give the feel that the chats you is jumping. Pushpa jumps around so smoothly like spider man or something.

Japan, land of rising sun, keeping the country in mind, they could have shot a wonderful fight sequence early morning when the sun rises. What a missed opportunity.

Story is very convenient to the hero. Doesn’t put in much efforts. Everything goes as planned. Not once does the hero see a downfall and then rise again.

How can you keep such a weak villain? Shekawat commits suicide? Could have made him more crazier imposing tougher challenges to Pushpa but no sadly.

Making logs into cart? So basically there would be so much wastage of would if one wanted to make a guitar out of a wheel of the cart. The logs as is is the best option imo. And how conveniently they place a bomb below one cart that gets caught? How’d they know which cart gets caught?

Climax fight was a joke! Man jumps and lies down and rotates in air and what not with his hands and legs tied!!!!!!? Seriously? And again we see a rip off of kantara climax fight there.

The post credits, no impact or build up given for the next villain.

Pros:

AA - Whatta performance mannnn. Single handedly owned the movie tbh! His career best performance id say. The gangamma thalli dance is jaw dropping. Totally nailed it ! No complaints on AA, can see his 100% given.

Rashmika - finally, some importance given for the character this time.

Bgm was good, though I could not feel the DSP style in this one due to 3 MDs, but kept up with the scene well. Just not enough for the post credits.

Cinematography was pretty good! I loved how the director has put in enough emotional scenes in the movie to maintain the emotional conflict of Pushpa.

Brownie:

Where is Pushpa teaser is actually of part 3, where Pushpa escapes the bomb blast and is under cover in woods.

(In post credits the names of the movie staff scrolls up so fast that not even one name was readable. A lot of background/technical artists do stay back to post credits to see their name on the screen. Felt that was disrespectful towards them)

Overall: 3/5

Not really worth the ticket price.

Mention your pros and cons in the comments.

Ps - Remember the chain Ajay takes away from Pushpa during childhood? Had he given his chain back to him and welcomed to the family it would have been such a good closure. Missed.
