It always annoyed me how much Korri overused english in Srimanthudu, Mirchi and kinda all of his other movies. He literally made characters say something in english and repeat the translation in Telugu lol.

But he was exposed with Devara's grounded setting and had to stick with only writing Telugu dialogues and it was one of the most abysmal displays of writing and dialogues in Telugu cinema. Leaving aside the non-uniform dialects that every character had. Every single line in the first hour is just blatant expositon with zero effort put into world building. It was so in your face at times that I was dumbfounded with how blatant his terrible writing was.
