My 2 year old is BORED ALL THE TIME then he acts like a monster. Help!!!!
Post Body

He just turned 2 in September so his skills and abilities to do a lot aren't there yet. I try to do things that are too advanced for him. I'm at a loss for things to do at his age and motorskill level.

I'm exhausted setting up activities that last 10 minutes and he is on to the next thing and bored and hour later.

We spend probably 65% of his day outside doing kind of unstructured play like pretend driving our cars & lawn mowers, walks, rides in cozy coupe or balance bike and wagon..but it's a dirt road and parks are far away we live in the Appalachian mountains so it needs to be at home play. He does things like move water from our pond into other smaller and bigger containers. Dig in dirt. Play In leaves. We have a water table. I despise sand and kinetic sand but he plays in it sometimes. He walks around and creeps in every sneaky place on our several acres and buildings.

Inside he has his trucks and cars, tunnel, kitchen, doctor stuff, crafts and art stuff but he doesn't care much for painting as for the water cup. He spends a lot of time playing in the sink "washing dishes".

He watches Ms Rachel and now Blippi.

Meets all milestones but has violent meltdowns when he doesn't get his way and is frustrated. Which happens a lot when he isn't stimulated enough.

We work from home and he doesn't get to see many people bc of how remote we are. So it's like all on us to entertain him and try to work. His dad has been taking that on and that's why so much unstructured play when I'm working.

What are some fun easy activities we can do with him? That dad can figure out. He loves cars, counting, singing and nursery rhymes, and anything and Rachel or Blippi does. But very short attention span and hard to catch his attention...so possibly ADHD or maybe just typical toddler idk.

He headbangs when he gets frustrated so we feel hostage to his whims or he is gonna bang his head on something when he is mad. so dad is walking like 10effing miles a day with him or you know right this second he is at the window begging and pleading to go outside for a buggy ride in the side by side...his daddy drove him around on the side by side for 5 hours yesterday!!!!!!! Is he gonna be at his head against the window and get a bruise bc no one will drive him around in the buggy at 7:02 am on a Sunday?!?!

Suggestions for activities would be greatly appreciated or maybe some other rants.
