All the research out there says they should be barefoot as much as possible the first 3 years, but daycare requires them to be in shoes all day.
My Lo has chubby little feet and the top of her foot gets red from being squished in her Nike runners.
I’ve been trying to find wide tow box shoes that won’t squish her toes, while also being high enough for her arches/chubby baby feet
She’s only 12 months and just starting to take a couple of independent steps at a time
What are your kids wearing at daycare?
Bonus points for shoes available in Canada
Our daycare required shoes outdoors after 12 months. Makes sense. We got these cheapies from Amazon (in Toronto) as all daycare shoes/clothes come home filthy. https://www.amazon.ca/DEBAIJIA-First-Walking-Trainers-Breathable-Lightweight/dp/B07PQ7HNWR/ref=asc_df_B07PQ7HNWR/?tag=googlemobshop-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=337116001595&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=974109235442067090&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9000985&hvtargid=pla-747204971642&psc=1
