He will be playing and having fun and then suddenly he will just get freighted and practically jump into me. I’m dad, he seems to do this to me and only me. Frequency is about once a day. He started about 3 -4 months ago. He’s a pretty good talker so when it happens I ask him about it, he sort of talks about it. It’s always some kind of monster, and the story changes. At about 26 months he started being scared of “monsters” and he’s pretty creative about them, we get some funny stories out of him. Like “a spider is on fire and da dad threw it in the fire place” but most are related to what ever room we are in. It’s the sudden shift in mood that bothers me the most. It happens in the blink of an eye. I’ve noticed it’s usually around bed time, bath time, or when mom goes to the gym on the weekends and dads home with the boys. Any ideas on how to find out what’s bothering him?
