I straight up gained weight when I started cycling regularly. I went from 165lbs to 180lbs, as a 6ft adult woman.
All went to my hips and ass, thankfully! It’s definitely mostly muscle mass, but I’m hungrier than I used to be so I’ve put on a bit of fat too.
Can’t say I’m too mad about it tbh.
