What the fuck Toronto? Did you all forget what Pride is about? This isn't a rant about you, the individual, we have all lost our shit. It has become so overtaken by corporate bullshit and little stands selling shit and whatever food stalls, and music stages (which I won't lie, I love, and it IS part celebration). The Pride march is not only a celebration. We are fucking fighting for our mother fucking ducker rights and pushing for acceptance to just be who we are without fear.

Just tonight I was called a faggot. During fucking Pride on College just west of Young a late nigth passer by on a bike yelled 'You're gay'. (I'm not gay btw, just somewhat non-conforming to whatever gender rules people have in their minds)

We have much to celebrate. We have come a long way. But damn fucking fuck we still have a path ahead.

Extra little rant, Capital F-ing FUCK the pro-Palestine protesters that disrupted perhaps the single most important form of demonstration this entire month. The LGBT movement has not co-opted your cause and we appreciate if you do not co-opt ours.

Yes, you have your cause, you have your rights you want, I understand your feelings. But you selfish fucks have taken away much focus from a very important event. Don' think so? Just think of how much focus was spent on you - media headlines, this reddit comment, tons of conversations. Yeah, you selfish pricks, you have succeeded at brining (VERY FUCKING NEGATIVE) attention to your cause. What next? How far will you go? There are other ways. Use them.
