Someone Help Me Choose (Stay $30 or Connect $25)

So my wife and I have been in the $30 plan for like 8 years. No issues other than being capped at 100 mins a months and even that isn’t a problem. I’m all for saving money though and maybe if we both get unlimited we would drop the home phone. Is there any disadvantage to jumping to the $25 connect plan? I get we will be data capped completely at 5gb, but data over that has not been a problem on the $30 plan.

Other option is to switch to Mint. But I’ve heard some stories of occasional text delays and phone calls going to VM.

Anyone want to share a success or horror story with any of these? Or just make the choice for me?
