Okay long story short:

When I went to get a new number the carrier store sales rep had to search a different zip code in the surrounding area of my major city in order to get the main area code/number I wanted. Very luckily too, the number available was very good. I love the digits and pattern of the phone number, like I really think its a good looking phone number. The bad part is when I call people now on their Caller ID it might show the suburban town outside of my major city. Being OCD it kind of bothers me it doesnt show the major city im from but instead caller id pops for my number as some small town on the outer parts.

Here's the pros and cons. If I change my number I can prob get a new number assinged where the caller ID now shows my major city but the phone number wont look as good, it'll prob be digits I wont like. On the other hand, i REALLY LIKE the digits of the phone number I have now, I can keep this but my number will be assigned to some random small town outside the major city I live and that pops up on peoples caller ID. Both numbers will have the same exact area code anyway.

What should I do?
