I have been on the 55 plan with my mom for six years now. When we signed up with T-Mobile back in January 2018 they had a promotion to buy one iPhone 8 and get one free, so we did that and still have the same phone(s), six years later.
I looked on the app/website to find out if we can get a discount on a new phone and it looks like the only way we can is by switching plans, which neither of us wants to do since we are paying $30 each. The only other options that I could find were to either pay for a phone outright (in its entirety) or opt for monthly payments for 24 months.
Does anyone know if there are any other options for us to upgrade our phones that wouldn’t be so expensive? It doesn’t seem right that we’ve had the same phones for six years and have been loyal customers for just as long, but literally can’t upgrade our phones without either sacrificing our plan or paying way more per month.
