I will make this as short as possible. I called tech support for an issue I had calling internationally. They did all the test they do I guess and told me my phone was the issue. I didnt have a Warranty for the phone since it was almost 4 years old and I was waiting for the iPhone to upgrade.
They say they can apply a warranty and not charge me for the warranty fee and I can get a replacement phone. I asked if I was going to get charged multiple times, they said no. They asked if the screen was broken, I said the corner had a crack. They said it was fine. HERE IS THE ISSUE.
Month later I got a $950 charge on my account for the return. Ive gone over this with them and even supervisors. I wanted my old phone back and I would return this one to remove the charge, every time they said that wasnt necessary, the charge was going to be removed. It never was. Over the past few weeks they claim they needed to listen to the conversation I had with the tech support. Ive given them time and I was promised a call but never got one.
Now I have a bill for $950 dollars for a phone you can buy at Walmart from Samsung at $330 USD. Ive called all day asking to talk to a manager and the 3 times ive been transfered, when, the call drops when its time for me to speak to someone that can do SOMETHING.
I was sent pictures of my phone today. Which wasnt the issue to begin with. Of course it had a crack, my issue was that the Agent lied to me, and screwed me. They were supposed to check the recording and now they are not taking my calls when its someone that matters.
MY question to all here, has anyone had this issue and found a solution. I dont want to pay almost a thousand dollars for a phone that I could buy for 1/3 the cost elsewhere.
I desperately need help.
