Can Main account holder upgrade device for other lines at store?

Hi,
My mom is in One 55 plan. My sister has other line in that plan but she is always busy at work and won’t have time to go to store to upgrade device.
Can I take my mom to T-Mobile store and she can upgrade her and my sister devices instore or does my sister needs to go also? Or need her current device/phone.
Also we thinking of buying iPhone 14 and I heard it doesn’t have SIM so I am not sure if there will be issues upgrading.
