Post Body

This Cub cover is the sixth track of the band's 1996 album, Factory Showroom. How do you feel about this song? What are some of your favorite lyrics? Are there any live versions or demos you like? How would you rank it among the rest of the band's discography? How would you rate it out of 10 (decimals allowed)?

SUGGESTED SCALE:
1-4: Not good. Regularly skip.
5: It's okay, but I might have to be in the right mood to listen to it.
6: Slightly better than average. I won't skip it, but I wouldn't choose to put it on.
7: This is a good song. I enjoy it quite a bit.
8-9: Really enjoyable songs. I rank them pretty high overall.
10: Masterpiece, magnus opus, or similar terminology. A perfect piece of music.

Comments
  1. If it were part of your scale, I would say 10,000. Here's a few notes:

  2. Up until right now, I didn't know it was a cover. It is pleasant and quirky and seems 100% the kind of song TMBG would do so I never thought about it.

  3. I was waiting with baited breath for this song in the list and you threw me off with the halloween album. It's okay though, because I love this song so my enthusiasm is undiminished.

  4. My son ended up at a college in NY, an hour or so north of New York City. He asked me one day if I had any experience in the city and if I would suggest some places to visit. I'd never been before but I knew this song so I sent it to him on Spotify and said "Do the things and places in the song and you'll be set!"
