Please don’t judge me! I always billed it as a cheesy love story, which I usually detest, but of course in reality it’s so much more. I’m so glad I gave it a chance, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since.

I remember in elementary school (~1998) being both obsessed with and terrified by the Titanic: An Illustrated History children’s book I got at the book fair. It seems my obsession has been rekindled.

Where do you suggest I start my research? I plan to read and watch “A Night To Remember” but not sure where to go from there.

I’m mostly interested in the lives and experiences of the passengers and crew, as well as what life was like at that time. I’m also interested in reading more about Titanic conspiracies (though not the one that posits that Titanic was switched with Olympic for insurance fraud. That is easily debunked because the two ships were not identical). I’m fascinated by the stories that seemed to predict the sinking of the Titanic, as well as any weird coincidences or ironies involving the passengers.
