The linked video above popped up on my suggested YouTube feed. CBS News posted this video on Friday, June 23rd. It is the original broadcast from Sept. 1, 1985 and shows some of the very first public images of the Titanic wreck. What I found interesting was that this broadcast featured a call with Dr. Ballard, still on the research ship, and during the call he said they hadn't found the stern yet. It's also interesting to hear the some of the information that was later discovered to be inaccurate, such as the mention of the second smoke stack still attached to the ship.
