I’ve been following this story since 2014, that’s right, 10 years at least! As much as I despise the ending and several other things about the final arcs, this story still holds a special place in my heart.
One thing that I truly love about it is that it taught me that it’s okay to live for yourself. The 104th and everyone else could’ve easily given up against impossible odds, but they didn’t. Eren, Erwin, Historia, they all kept pushing forward, despite the hardship, blood, sweat, and tears they’d have to endure as a result. And in a lot of ways, they did things for themselves more so than the people around them at times too. That really resonated with me as someone who grew up living for other instead of myself for the majority of my life, and it’s why I was so angry with how the story ended.
So I want to know, what did you truly love about this story? Did anything in the story resonate with you or change your outlook on certain things?
