Quick question about what was respawn thinking

Ok so in tf2 we have the r97 and in apex there’s the r99 but if titanfall 3 comes out and it’s set after apex in the storyline and the r97 keeps evolving what are we gonna get: yup you guessed it.... the r101 and how is respawn gonna work that over. I’ve been thinking about this same question for like 7 hours
