Tipping culture is out of hand... But, if you do not tip a service provider classified as a tip earning employee, you are a thief. Especially delivery drivers. If you don't like the system, don't use it or dedicate your life to changing it. Even poor service (I'll exclude non-existent service) does not justify denying a fellow human of the means to support their family. DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THOSE WHO FRONT THEIR OWN MONEY AND RESOURCES TO DELIVER SAID SERVICE. Allow me to provide context: Just because Helen at the DMV is a "see you next Tuesday," does not mean you decide to only pay 30 bucks for xyz service to exclude her wage/ salary. I don't get a discount on service just cuz Chad at 7-11 was a d-bag when he served my cold taquitos with an "attitude." Why rob a person of livelihood for anything short of safety issues? Why blame your fellow man, middle to low class peer for the failure of an antiquated system? (Yes, I hear the exception train, but those stops are not common.)
