All I remember is that it's about a group of adult friends that are haunted by this TV show they used to watch as children. The children's show featured these puppet-y characters, and there were scenes in the series where full-sized versions of them would be seen lurking in the background. I think it's a British series, but I'm not 100% sure.

I watched this maybe like a couple years ago (definitely within the 2010s). I googled something like "best horror series" and picked this show out from a list. I remember it had a really eery feel to it, and I stopped watching after an episode or two cos I was so creeped out by the visuals and felt like watching it alone was gonna attract bad energy or whatever.

Anyways, it crossed my mind randomly one day and I tried looking for it again. I googled every combination of key words I can think of based on the little bits of it I remember, but no luck. Now I'm wondering if I imagined the whole thing...
