I have vauge memories of one of my friends playing a game as a kid and for some reason it always stuck with me, I'd love to know what it is if anyone has an idea. It was darkish fantasy rpg, probably on the xbox, it was quite a lot like skyrim but I'm quite sure it wasn't skyrim as this was before it would have come out. It was third person but it would occasionally have fixed camera angles, i particularly remember one instance where my friend was going into this big gothic cathedral thing that he said was a home he bought if i remember correctly. Also i can't be sure but i think there may have been a part in the game where you could physically see all the gold you had collected in a big pile. My first thought was fable but it's too bright and cheerful and also I'm quite sure you played as a big dude, not a kid. Perhaps the witcher 2? If anyone has any ideas let me know. I'd particularly like to fund the building i saw and perhaps even to big room of gold to be sure that it's what i remember.
