I’m looking for a movie where the main character (I keep thinking it’s Adam Sandler, but I may be incorrect) tries to get himself out there by setting a dating profile. Someone advises him to lie on there and put a bunch of fake stuff, including fighting a shark! The interesting thing was that all the fake things listed became true! Also important note: the phrase “earth to major Tom” is repeated a couple of times throughout the movie. Thank you in advance!
