An american guy is in Chinatown for some reason and I don't remember why he is involved in Triads wars, so he has to go with a group of people to rescue a girl (typical get the girl save the world film). The film was a comedy going through all the tropes of action movies.
I remember an specific scene where someone throws a blade at the american and he grabs the blade midflight and throws it back at the bad guy, and the friend of the american says "first time you kill?" And the american thinks for a moment like going to say something deep but says 'no' and shrugs off having killed someone
