Hello.

I am trying desperately to find the name of a british tv serial I watched in about 1995 - 1996 on Australian TV. It was stop motion and was about small people living underground or inside the roof of a building - it might possibly have been a factory in an industrial estate.

The whole point of it was that they wanted to go and live outside but couldn't or were scared of it. I remember it being quite scary for a kid and the only scene I distinctly remember was one of the characters building an outside suit that was just one of the little people wrapping newspaper around themselves.

I do remember specifically it was a serial in maybe 14-15 parts? It had a blue opening credits sequence from what I remember.

I saw it in the 90's but think it might be even older, please help me remember so I know this wasnt just a fever dream.
