I read a book a few years back of somewhat forgotten heros from the years of yore. I recall reading about a duo from (probably) the 60s or 70s which had a scientist character who was super skeptical about magic and supernatural beings. I'm pretty sure it was DC because I seem to recall a conversation about Superman. The other character, his partner, was literally a god-like supernatural being who the first guy thought was just a "weird detective" His disbelief in magic was so strong that he was immune to it. Thought the partner might be The Question or the Phantom Stranger but I had no luck. Thank you!
