I remember seeing the beginning of a movie back in the 2000s that looked a little older. There were these parasyte-esc monsters that would split people in half right down the middle super fast. There was a mother and child who got brutally annihilated in their house. Then some special police unit guy busts out of the back of a van with a minigun. I think I remember the disc case reading "magician's wand" but I could be wrong. Anyone have any clues? Been thinking of this movie for years.
